DIY photography gloves.
I’m heading to Telluride Colorado on sunday for a weeklong photo/video shoot and wanted some gloves that would keep my hands warm but that would also give my shootin’ fingers quick and accurate access to all the buttons and wheels on my Canon 7D. I know gloves like these exist, but I couldn’t find them anywhere here in Seattle, so I picked up some $16 lightweight gloves with some extra grippy-ness at REI and took a pair of scissors to the index fingers and thumbs. They feel great and should work like a charm. Like I said, not super fascinating, but kinda fun.
