We wanted to share some images with you from Chase Jarvis’ artist’s residency at Ace Hotel New York — Dasein: An Invitation to Hang, exploring the concept of mundanity and the everyday by creating a storyboard of snapshots in the gallery space at Ace. You, me and everyone we know are welcome to submit work here that may be selected for printing and installation in the gallery, along with Chase’s work and that of some cultural luminaries and other bright stars — all working anonymously.
It’s the great digital democracy. Everyone is an eligible candidate. So are your moments, so snap them and share them with the world.
